the first adjective decides the quality of the third and the fifth. the second one, if present, describes the same for the seventh. the third adjective(?) determines the chord voicing (inversion).

[2] if not a seventh chord, assume inversion 'd' to be equivalent to 'a'. you'd know what those terms mean if you are a musician. if not, what *are* you doing here?
